As the major centre for sports training in the country, China National General Administration of Sports Training Bureau was established on November 25th 1951 to spearhead all aspects of development in sports competition. For 60 years, it has become the training camp for Olympic events and the cradle for world champions! As at 2010, the Bureau’s 14 Olympic teams have created 1002.5 world champions, won 120 gold medals and inspired unsurpassed honour for China. In addition, its ‘3 concentration’ management model and ‘3 adherence and 1 key’ scientific training principle have set a new national standard for sports competition.
Mr. Liu Peng, the National Sports Minister, delivered his congratulatory message in the event, and expressed his hope on the Bureau to revive China’s glory in sports, with the sole mission of turning China into a world sports titan. He hoped to see a liberal, innovative and world-class training school that provides the most professional services to athletes, including all safeguard measures against violation of Olympic rules & regulations, and keeps abreast with science and technology at the same time, especially in key areas such as stamina and endurance enhancement as well as sports rehab and sports nutrition. He urged the bureau to fully harness its resources to propagate sports all over China and improve health standard of the general public.
The sports athletes are all geared up to conquer the London Olympics. Mr. Liu Peng pointed out that Mr. Hu Jin Tao, the Party’s Secretary General, inspected the Bureau’s operation in 2008 and left some advice and hoped that the Bureau would keep that advice in mind and expedited its mission with full vigour, in full extension of the successful experience gained during the Beijing Olympics. He urged the Bureau to be more pro-active, holistic and meticulous in everything it does. As a guardian of the sports industry, Jike Biotech Group Ltd. promises to enhance athlete performance with its high purity polypeptide products that rapidly replenish the body with short-chain polypeptides so as to generate rapid stamina recovery and fatigue relief. The products have passed 100 over stringent tests, including those from the National Stimulant Regulatory Centre. “This way, we no longer need to worry about inadequate nutrition of our Olympic teams while they are in London. Furthermore, these products are easy to carry and there is no risk of taking ‘banned’ food by mistake.”
During the ‘Red Flag for 60 Years’ Anniversary Dinner, Tan Jin, Liu Bin, Si Ma Yun Qing, Liu Yuan Yuan, Sha Bao Liang, diving hero He Chong, the national weight-lifting team and cheerleaders performed on stage together to commemorate the Bureau’s 60th anniversary.
